http://www.bimforlandskap.net/
De har også endel tips til hvor en kan innhente informasjon om bruken av programvare o.l.

Portable Bike Lane Infrastructure!
This might be just silly (or maybe not) but this thing is a gadget that you put on your bike to use when riding on roads that do not have separated bike lanes. Maybe interesting as a temporal solution until the adequate road profile is in place?!

Cool graphics
I came across this interesting web page with nice graphics/posters. I found this metro map of Paris quite stunning!
MASDAR CITY
Masdar City is a "green city", situated in Abu Dhabi and is currently under construction.
It was designed by Norman Foster and they are actually trying to create the first completely carbon and waste free city!
"Aspiring to be one of the most sustainable cities in the world, approximately 6km2 Masdar City is an emerging global clean-technology cluster that places its resident companies in the heart of the global renewable energy and cleantech industry. Situated 17km from downtown Abu Dhabi, Masdar City is a high-density, pedestrian-friendly development where current and future renewable energy and clean technologies are showcased, marketed, researched, developed, tested and implemented.
The city, which at full build out will house 40,000 residents and hundreds of businesses, will integrate the full range of renewable energy and sustainability technologies, across a living and working community."
The Masterplan for Masdar City.
Inside the city.
This one mode of transport in the city.
Masdar City Plaza.
I know it all looks really futuristic but if you check out their web page you can see that they have actually built a lot of this and the "cars" as well.
Enjoy!

Urban Forests = Cleaner, Cooler Air
Hi guys.
I just saw this very interesting and inspiring video:)
It´s from ASLA’s “Designing Our Future: Sustainable Landscapes” online exhibition that explains how urban forests fight air pollution and the urban heat island effect.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE/URBANISM OFFICES
I thought building up a 'comprehensive' list of landscape architecture/ urbanism offices on the blog could offer everyone easy and accessible browsing for project references.
If you come across an office with a relevant profile (sustainable landscape architecture) that isn't listed, please add it in a new post and use the existing tag 'Offices' on it.
Here's a few that I know about:
